Students enroll in the College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) partnership agreement between the Coast Community College District and a local high school district. Classes taught at a high school are restricted and are only open to high school students. These courses are completely free for students, and students receive both high school and college credit. Students must complete the colleges' online application and submit the Dual Enrollment Consent Form to register.
  • Who: Current High School Students
  • When: Fall, Winter/Spring, Summer Semesters
  • Where: Golden West College Campus or Online
  • Fees: Subject to all fees and textbook if the high school district does not cover them, except enrollment fees

Classes are taught at the college campus or online with approval from students' high school. Enrollment fees are waived but college-related fees apply (cost of any books and supplies, etc.). Students receive college credit, but their high school will determine if they are able to receive dual credit towards their high school graduation requirements. Summer 2025 for OCC

Please complete the Non-CCAP Form and email it in a PDF format to [email protected]. Be sure the form has the appropriate signatures (parent/guardian and your HS Principal). Please note that we cannot accept typed signatures, they MUST be handwritten.

You will be notified via your student (@student.cccd.edu) email when the form is processed so you can register for courses. Please allow at least 7-10 business days for the processing of forms. For the fastest possible processing time please make sure your form is accurate, that all fields are filled out, and that all signatures are handwritten.

Students planning on taking courses at Golden West College or at Coastline College, must also complete the dual enrollment form for that college. The concurrent (Non-CCAP) enrollment form linked above is for OCC courses only.

Advanced Placement
Students may also earn college credit by passing Advanced Placement (AP) exams with a score of 3 or higher. Please see your high school guidance counselor for more information.
