Summer Credit Recovery Programs 2020

March 26, 2020
HBUHSD families.

Normally, our guidance teams would be talking with students face to face about summer school if they need to repeat classes to make up credits. During these times, we'll need to reach out as many ways as possible, and that is why you are receiving this message.  To begin,  in the future, we will send more specific information about summer credit recovery options through our most common summer credit recovery programs, such as OCDE ACCESS, and Huntington Beach Adult School, as enrollment for these programs normally takes place later in the school year.

For right now, we want to let you know that if you were thinking about enrolling in the summer school program at Pacific Coast High School (PCHS), the enrollment window opens Monday.   Please remember this program is only for repeating a class from first semester this year or previous years, with the exception of Health.   Again, this is a reminder that PCHS is one of three credit recovery options, and the one that focuses on UC A-G and NCAA approved coursework.

Families can access the registration packet forms on our HBUHSD website:

Please fill out packet completely.  Packet must include student and parent signature.

You may drop off your registration packet between 9AM and 3PM beginning Monday, March 23, 2020.  The last day to drop off packets is Wednesday, May 20th, 2020, at 3PM.  We will no longer accept packets after May 20th.

Drop off location:  HBUHSD District Office Innovation Lab  5832 Bolsa Ave. HB 92649.  There will be signs directing you to drop off area.

Again, we are planning to offer our normal options for summer credit recovery at a later date. PCHS sign ups begin now, while our other options will offer registration later in the year.
Stay safe and healthy,
