And now, here is Kody Afusia letting us know about a fun, fundraising event coming up:

Good morning Chargers! Coach Kody Afusia here, and I'm excited to announce that I'll be supporting the BRAVEONES Foundation in their BOWL-A-THON fundraiser this year. As one of the coaches for the Unified Sports team here at Edison, I'm also proud to share that the proceeds from this event will DIRECTLY BENEFIT our district's Unified Sports programs.

Unified Sports promotes inclusive sports participation, bringing together students of all abilities to engage in athletic activities. It fosters social inclusion and friendship by allowing individuals of all abilities to compete together on the same team.

The funds raised from the BOWL-A-THON will support event and operational costs, providing students with special needs the opportunity to play alongside their peers in various sports such as basketball, baseball, soccer, flag football, track and field, and volleyball. These costs typically include transportation, meals, uniforms, substitute teacher coverage, jerseys, and more.

If you'd like more information, feel free to reach out to me directly. And even if you're unable to participate or donate, a simple share of this post would be greatly appreciated. For more details, visit me in room 326, check out @BraveonesFoundation on Instagram, or go to BraveOnesFoundation.org. Get your team of 4-6 together, and let's go bowling!

Have a great day and Goooooo Chargers !!!!!!!!!!!
