Visual Art: Ceramics

The Ceramics program is committed to assisting, challenging, and propelling students toward fully realizing their individual voices and visions via working in clay as well as other media, and is intent to get students making, thinking, and discussing Art. We are dedicated to the mission of fostering an expansive understanding of ceramic arts and contemporary art, and an inclusive community of learning, teaching, making, and exchanging ideas.

CERAMICS 1

An exploratory course, which students explore the artistic expression and technical skill used in the creation of Ceramics, exploring the elements and principles of art, critique, as well as the creative history of the arts. 

CERAMICS 2

An intermediate level course, which further explores the artistic expression and technical skill used in the creation of ceramics. This course is structured to allow the opportunity to explore different mediums and higher-level assignments.

CERAMICS 3/4

Advanced level courses, which further explores the artistic expression and technical skill used in the creation of ceramics. This course is structured to allow the opportunity to explore different mediums and higher-level assignments, in a more concentrated study.
